Fuel Surcharges - A fuel surcharge may be imposed if the price of fuel increases after airfares have been set for the summer season. The FUEL SURCHARGE page will reflect any fuel surcharges imposed.

Check-In Time – Renton: Please be at our terminal in Renton at least 30 minute prior to departure for all international departures. Due to Customs preparations for international flights, we request a little extra time for your check in.

Check-In Time – April Point Lodge or Marina: Please be at the seaplane dock at least 30 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time. At your time of reservation, please specify either location. Due to weather and routing, your aircraft may arrive 30 minutes prior to the scheduled departure or as late as 30 minutes after the scheduled departure time.

Baggage: Please limit your baggage to one soft-sided piece of luggage. Total weight should not exceed 25 pounds per person. Baggage in excess of this amount will be checked at an additional charge of $0.67 per pound, $25 minimum, only on a space available basis.

International Flights: For travelers flying to international destinations within Canada, please be prepared to clear customs, both upon entering Canada, and returning to the United States. Passports are required for air travel as of January 23, 2007 for international passengers. Non-U.S. Citizens (except Canadian citizens) are required to have a valid I-94w. Northwest Seaplanes offers per-seat-fares on scheduled charter flights. Seat fares for these charter flights to April Point are available from July 3 to September 3, 2008 during the Hakai Lodge service season.

Seattle departures and arrivals are into the Renton Municipal Airports Seaplane Base located on the south end of Lake Washington.
